Sun-Kissed Links & Luxury

It’s time you discovered Portugal’s golfing treasures

A radiant blend of old-world charm and sophisticated leisure. Portugal’s Bucket List Experiences unfold across landscapes of rolling hills, fragrant pines and golden sunlight. It’s where iconic courses like the Old Course, Vilamoura and the emerging gems of Terras da Comporta invite discerning golfers to test their game. Here, the rhythm is unhurried, the surroundings serene and each round flows effortlessly into evenings of refined relaxation in five-star accommodations. All accompanied, naturally, by the freshest Mediterranean cuisine and Portugal’s quiet, confident elegance.

World-Class Courses, Handpicked for You

Terras da Comporta

Terras da Comporta’s Dunas Course is a striking modern links set along Portugal’s untouched Alentejo coastline, designed by David McLay Kidd to feel both raw and refined. Wide, sandy corridors weave through natural dunes and umbrella pines, with firm-running fairways and ever-present Atlantic breezes creating a fast, strategic test that rewards imagination as much as precision. It’s a course of quiet drama and minimalist beauty, where the landscape does much of the talking.

Old Course, Vilamoura

Often referred to as the “Grande Dame” of Portuguese golf, the Old Course in Vilamoura winds gracefully through towering umbrella pines, offering a timeless test of strategy and precision. Its classic layout and tranquil, tree-lined fairways make it a ‘must play’ when visiting the Algarve.

Monte Rei

Nestled in the serene eastern Algarve, Monte Rei is widely regarded as one the finest in the country. Set within rolling hills and unspoiled countryside, the course is a study in precision and elegance, with immaculate conditioning, dramatic elevation changes, and water features that demand thoughtful strategy on nearly every hole. With its limited tee times, impeccable service, and tranquil setting, Monte Rei offers a rarefied experience where championship golf meets absolute privacy and refinement.

Quinta do Lago, South

Quinta do Lago South Course, is a masterclass in refined championship golf. It weaves effortlessly through umbrella pines, lakes, and manicured fairways, culminating in a dramatic closing stretch along the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Known for hosting the Portuguese Open multiple times, the course balances strategic challenge with scenic elegance. Its immaculate conditioning, subtle greens, and pristine setting making it a favorite among Garmany Guests.

Palmares Golf Course

Palmares Golf Course, perched above the sweeping sands of Meia Praia in Lagos, offers a visually captivating golf experience. The course is a seamless blend of parkland, heathland, and true links terrain, with rolling fairways cascading toward the Atlantic and panoramic ocean views at every turn. Its trio of nines, Praia, Alvor, and Lagos, each present a distinct character, combining strategic variety with natural beauty, while the ever-present coastal breeze adds a subtle but constant test.
