CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
Once tee times and accommodations have been booked and confirmed, and the requisite deposits have been placed, there are no refunds of any deposits or final payments made by Guests or the representative club, except as provided in the 24-Hour Cancellation Policy below.
Garmany Golf strongly recommends travel insurance to protect any Guest against any unforeseen circumstances that may cause a Guest or club to cancel participation in any Experience. 24-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
Guests may cancel their booking within 24 hours of the time of purchase and receive a full refund, provided that the booking was made at least 4 months prior to the scheduled Experience start date. Cancellations made after this 24-hour period will be subject to the standard cancellation policy outlined above.
ADDITIONAL AND OPTIONAL BOOKINGS, AND PAYMENTS
At the request of a Guest, a Garmany Golf Concierge will be happy to book any non golfing tour, activity or additional round of golf before or during the Experience. Please be aware that an administrative or booking fee may be added to any such booking. In the event of such a fee, the Guest will be notified in advance of the fee and have the opportunity to decline the booking confirmation.
All Guests agree to provide a valid credit card in advance of the Experience that may be used for payment for any additional tour, activity or additional (non included) round of golf booked during the Experience for the Guest.
RESPONSIBILITY
Garmany Golf, as the tour operator, and its selling agents, act only as agents in securing and booking the hotel accommodations and other land tour services provided by others as independent contractors. Garmany Golf, its selling agents or the specified air carriers assume and accept no liability for injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, changes or inconvenience caused by: any force majeure – health risks – reason of war or threat of war – riots – civil strife – terrorist activity – industrial disputes – acts, omission, neglect, delay or default of any person engaged in providing any tour services including transportation and accommodation – technical problems to transport – closure or congestion of airports or ports – building work – extended hotel closure – cancellations or changes of schedules by airlines – interruption or failure of public utilities outside the control of the hotel and similar events beyond our control, including storms, tempests and hurricanes.
Garmany Golf is not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal belongings, for personal injury, accident or illness on any vehicle or at any place throughout the tour. Garmany Golf reserves the right to cancel an Experience if circumstances so require. In the event of such, Garmany Golf will make a full refund to travelers of all payments received in respect of the Experience. Such a refund of payments will be the full extent of Garmany Golf’s obligation and liability to travelers. Garmany Golf is not responsible or liable for any property damage caused by a Guest. The Guest assumes all responsibility for incidental charges, damages and any necessary replacements needed that may have been caused by the Guest’s visit.
Pricing & Currency:
This Experience is priced in U.S. Dollars and is based on an exchange rate of 1.30 USD to 1.00 GBP. Pricing is based on a minimum of 12 traveling golfers. If the minimum number of Guests is not met prior to the final payment due date, pricing may be adjusted based on the confirmed Guest count. Due to fluctuations in foreign exchange markets, any increase exceeding 2% from the stated exchange rate, as measured by OANDA on the applicable payment date, may result in a corresponding price adjustment.
Transportation:
Private luxury transportation is included for all scheduled Experience activities, including airport transfers, hotel transfers, golf transfers, and included group activities. Airport transfers are included for Guests arriving into and departing from Edinburgh Airport (EDI) on the official Experience arrival and departure dates. Additional transportation requests outside the scheduled itinerary may incur supplemental charges. Transportation services are available for up to nine hours daily. Should additional transportation be required, your Garmany Concierge Team will be pleased to assist with arrangements.
Included Dining:
This Experience includes daily breakfast at the hotel, a Welcome Dinner inclusive of select beer and wine, a Farewell Dinner inclusive of select beer and wine, and lunch in the Members Clubhouse at Muirfield, jacket, tie, and dress shoes required. Unless otherwise noted, all additional dining expenses and beverages are the responsibility of the Guest. Your Garmany Concierge Team is happy to assist with restaurant recommendations and reservations throughout the Experience.
Golf, Caddies & Buggies:
Caddies and buggies may be requested in advance, subject to availability at each golf course. Availability cannot be guaranteed. All caddie fees, buggy fees, and related gratuities are the responsibility of the Guest. Please note that all golf courses included in this Experience are walking courses. In many cases, buggies are limited and may require advance approval from the golf club, including supporting medical documentation. Guests are encouraged to submit such requests as early as possible. A current handicap certificate from a bona fide golf club may be required at certain courses.
Club Shipping:
Guests planning to ship their clubs are encouraged to utilize ShipSticks for a seamless travel experience. For this Experience, we recommend shipping clubs to and from Kimpton Charlotte Square in Edinburgh due to ample storage space and 24-hour staffing. The Garmany Concierge Team is happy to assist with shipping logistics and coordination.
Additional Information:
While every effort is made to operate the Experience exactly as published, accommodations, golf courses, dining venues, transportation providers, and included activities remain subject to availability and may be adjusted if necessary. Any such changes will be made with the goal of maintaining the overall quality and integrity of the Experience.

You’re welcome to travel with your own clubs. Nearly every course we play offers premium rental sets, which we’re happy to reserve in advance for your convenience.
We also partner with Ship Sticks, the leaders in golf club shipping, and can arrange for your golf clubs to be shipped directly to your first hotel to await your arrival and home following your Experience. Our Guests are entitled to preferred rates. Please ask your Concierge for more details.
Absolutely. We design Experiences to suit everyone in your group. While golfers enjoy world-class courses, non-golfers can explore cultural tours, spa retreats, wine tastings, or other curated activities. We also adjust Experiences to balance the needs of beginners and seasoned players alike.
Most Guests enjoy one round per day, giving time to relax and explore the destination. Typically, a 7-day Experience includes 5 rounds, though we can tailor it to include more golf or build in leisure days for touring and Experiencing the destination.
All deposits and final payments are non-refundable. However, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance through a trusted advisor. We are Partnered with Travel Guard, through AIG, and we will be happy to provide a quote at any time Pre-Experience.
